Well, one day turns to two days, and so on and so forth.

Hey, luvvies!

Where have I been? Honestly, just living through this work week so I could get to this 3-day weekend that I SO DESPERATELY need! I don’t get a normal weekend like everyone else anymore, so anytime I can get some days off consecutively is such a treat.

But here are some things that have been going on with me:

new desk, who dis?

My new desk came in the mail, and I’m SO excited about it! Yes, it’s still sitting in the box right now, but I plan on getting to it tomorrow, especially since I’ve got three days to work on it. The goal is to have the new desk all set up so that, by next week, I’ll be typing my blog posts with my laptop on the new desk, and not in my lap. I’ll be sure to blog pictures for y’all!

the end of a chapter.

This week, I officially said “goodbye” to an Instagram gain group chat that I’ve been a part of for about a year and a half now. The purpose of the group was to gain more engagement and followers on Instagram, and while I was able to keep up with it for a while because I was always on Instagram, these days I’m just – not. I do miss coming up with creative photo shoots or outfits, but right now, I feel like I’m not in that phase. Trust me, I still dress to the nines, but I’m not as adamant about trying to get it in a photo, and out there on social media as I used to be.

Maybe I’m growing up, or maybe I’m just tired of the pursuit of constantly trying to come up with something new for Instagram. I’ve been working at it for YEARS now, and I somewhat feel burnt out from it. I’d love to get back to it eventually though (and I’ll still be posting things here and there, just not as consistently as I used to).

surprise, surprise.

My sister came to my job today because she had a surprise for me. Lo and behold, she’d bought me Stardew Valley for the Nintendo Switch! If you missed my earlier blog posts, I’ve been getting into cozy gaming a lot recently, playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons and more recently Fall of Porcupine. My sister has been BEGGING me to buy Stardew Valley for a while, and the fact that she was willing to pay for it for me just so I can experience it is so sweet!

So far, I’ve finished 7 days of spring on my beach farm. I was a little frustrated at first because I was unsure of how to work the controls, and then despite having a map, I couldn’t find where certain things in the village were. The fact that the days in the game go by so quickly is also something I have to get used to, along with my energy going down from chopping bushes and wood, and breaking down rocks.

But I love the game so far! It’s really cool, and I like that there are specific tasks you have to do. It takes a little more effort to acquire money, so maybe when I need a break from ACNH, I’ll play this game.

Sheesh, I may need to assign specific games for specific days durig the week!

That’s what’s been happening with me though! How’s your week going so far?
