so, this is love.

HI Y’ALL!!

So, it’s been over a month by now, but I AM A MARRIED WOMAN! A dream of mine, a cry of my heart since I was young, was to be married to my best friend, a man who fears God, and I am so blessed to say that I finally am!

To be honest, I wanted to vlog, blog, do SOMETHING during my whole wedding planning process to show y’all what’s been going on with me, but if you’ve ever been through it, you know that you can’t really focus on anything else but the wedding itself. And it really says something to be able to be present in those moments because there is a mix of emotions that come along with it all…

Anticipation. Fear. Worry. Excitement. Stress.

Is it sad that most of those are negative emotions? I think though that with the right mindset, the excitement can triumph over all those things, even if one of the other negative emotions takes a turn for a little bit.

But, enough about the planning part because that has come and gone. I just want to share more photos from our beautiful day, and once again, thank everyone who came, who helped, who gifted us things, who prayed over us and over this day. I truly have no regrets, minus wishing some of my family could have made it (they couldn’t because of some weather issues).

Shout out to WhoShotJimmie and his wife Dameka, our friends who came through for us and captured memories that we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives.

And, for those who may be wondering, I’ll be sharing some photos that I haven’t posted since you took the time to read my blog. I know I say this every time I come back to write, but THIS TIME I MEAN IT…I want to be back here, in this space, more often. I miss writing every day like I used to, and part of me was a little nervous to come back. But…that’s for the next blog post.
