How are you feeling right now?

I’m feeling extremely rested right now, and these days in general. More so than I’ve felt in a VERY long time.

I was trying to explain to some friends of mine that I’m doing so much more now than I was a month ago. And I know for a fact it’s because I switched jobs. I won’t keep writing about my job change because I know the people in my life have heard about it PLENTY. Just know that I’m enjoying myself so much more. My mental clarity has reached its all-time high when it was slowly clouding these last few years. I now come home, and don’t feel so burnt out that I don’t want to do anything but watch TV mindlessly.

The energy to create is there. The mental space to come up with new content and ideas is there. I feel more present and at peace.

Now, I do still have to get used to my work schedule; working Saturdays is definitely new to me, and it sometimes doesn’t feel like I get a solid weekend since my off days are split in between a day or so. But I’m still so grateful.

What do I do now after I work? I read, I stretch, I play video games, I practice learning Korean, I come up with new social media content, I blog! Once I firmly nail down my schedule, I’ll do better about going to the gym, and socializing (honestly, going to do more of that this next week after Labor Day weekend!), but for now, I know that I’m where I need to be, and I’m doing what needs to be done.

So, in short? I’m feeling AMAZING!
