I guess if I’m being transparent, I’ve found that when I play games, I do get competitive 😂 I don’t think I will be until I lose, and then I try to stop myself from pouting about losing, and I want to play again until I do win.
This trait of mine has been with me since I was a kid. I can remember playing Monopoly with my family, and being frustrated when I would go bankrupt in the game quickly to the point where my family wouldn’t want to play the game with me unless I made it clear that I wouldn’t be such a spoiled sport. I do regret these feelings though 😭 I don’t want to make a game unenjoyable, but I don’t know why it’s in my nature to be competitive like this.
Or maybe I’m just sensitive, and not competitive? Hmm, a good thought…but maybe I’m both??
Looking back, it’s honestly embarrassing thinking that I’d be that upset about losing a game instead of just being a good sport about it. This will have to be something I work on, especially since I’ve been playing pool these days, and I still get flustered when I lose.

My attitude has gotten better though over the years, I can definitely say that!
What about you? Are you competitive? Or are you sensitive? Or both?? Are there particular things that you’re more competitive about? Why do you think that is?
