Whew, I spent most of my evening on Animal Crossing: New Horizons because I didn’t play at all yesterday, and I hadn’t styled a vacation home in the game in probably WEEKS. I gotta earn more Poki to exchange so I can finish building my brick bridge on my island, and also pay off the last of my house debt (for now).
I know, I probaby should’ve written first, that way I could have gotten it finished, but I honestly just wanted to relax after today. I’m still not used to my Fridays not really being my Fridays since I work Saturdays now, but at least this upcoming week I’ve got three days off of work. I can’t wait; I have so much stuff I want to accomplish in that time period, but I also want to do a lot of resting and resetting too.
Speaking of resetting…Daylight Savings time…ends or begins on Sunday. We go back an hour! And I wonder if that’s going to mess up my sleep schedule, or if it’s going to help it 😅
ANYWAYS my weekend plans consist of working, going to church, getting my nails done, and RELAXING. My boyfriend and I will probably catch up on all the scary movies we didn’t get to watch during spooky season since we don’t really get to see each other that often anymore. I also have a book I need to finish reading before I return it to the library on Monday, and I want to get further along in my cozy game Fall of Porcupine. Every time I’ve played it, I’ve had to put it down pretty quickly after, and admittedly, sometimes I fall asleep while playing (it’s just THAT cozy). And of course, I have to get some writing in, not just here on the blog, but for NaNoWriMo as well. I’ve already missed a couple of days of writing 😫 I’ve got to do a better job of making time for it!
What are your weekend plans? Are they more fun, or more relaxing? What are you looking forward to doing? Are you ready to “fall back” an hour?
