Whew, I can do this.

I’m doing my best not to beat myself up over the fact that I’ve really sucked at blogging this last week. Even with these built-in prompts, it’s like I’m trying to force words out of me, and I don’t want to post anything that isn’t genuine.

Today’s prompt is pretty easy though: “What is on your music playlist right now?”

Every season, I make a new playlist, and I love it because I can listen to playlists from years past, and feel the nostalgia, remember exactly what I was doing or thinking as I hear the songs playing. I can remember which songs I absolutely loved at the time as well (and will continue to play them no repeat too!)

Here are a few artists/songs I want to highlight from my Winter ’21-’22 playlist…

Made up of JTRAFL and TaviSpice, this rapper duo from my city (Chattanooga, Tennessee) recently release their EP GinxIceCream, and it’s the first set of songs on my playlist! Their most popular hit “Spaghetti Voodoo” begins the EP, followed by groovy track “KAPCOM” and concluded with the sweet, soft rap song “Dreamland.” You definitely want to check these women out!
