Another spooky season themed blog post! 🎃

You know, as I’ve gotten older, my sweet tooth has faded. I remember being a kid, and even in high school and college, having a craving for sweets, especially chocolate chip cookies! I still love them now, but I don’t crave them every day. So, when it comes to talking about the best candy, it’s really gotta be the best for me to promote it as the best.

peachy-o’s.

Oh boy. These take me back to freshman year in college when my friends and I took a trip up to Massachusetts to visit my friend Caylin’s family. Any stop at the gas station warranted me getting peachy-O’s. And they’re STILL good to me! I don’t get them as often as I used to, but they’re still one of my favorites!

sour patch watermelons.

Yeah, the Sour Patch kids are good (even better now that they’ve provided different kinds of flavors than the usual), but they watermelon kind have always had my heart. They’re so good and juicy, just like actually watermelon. Now, the flavor itself probably isn’t exactly hitting the nail on the head with this candy, but it’s still one of the best!

sour gummy worms.

Maybe I should have just said “sour gummy candy” in general, BUT then I would be lying because not all sour gummy candy is good. Sour gummy worms is a classic though, I mean, how could you not like these? Especially the blue and red combo!

Kit Kats.

I haven’t named on chocolate candy yet, but I feel like this has become one of my favorites as I’ve gotten older. Reese’s cups have too much peanut butter, I’m not a big nougat fan, and the only pure bars of chocolate I’ll eat are dark chocolate (we can thank Honey, my stepmom, for introducing me to such luxurious candy at such a young age!). Kit Kats are probably the only chocolate candy I love, and they’re even better when they’re the dark chocolate kind. Now, I’ve heard that there’s a matcha flavor kind?! I have yet to try that…but I’d love to!
