Did you know that today is a day known as “Sweetest Day”? I found out about this at work when I saw it on the calendar for today.

It was a day created apparently a little over 100 years ago by a confectionery employee, who wanted to celebrate and love on the people who were seemingly forgotten, such as orphans. Today, those who celebrate it encompass all those whom they love in this sort of “mini Valentine’s Day” holiday.

It’s annually celebrated on the third Saturday of October. So, those of you who love Valentine’s Day, we now get TWO days out of the year, and not just one! 😂

I love that I get to learn fun things like this while I’m at work!
