Today was pretty decent.
If you’ve seen my latest pictures on my social media, you’ll see that I stepped outside today, one of the only sunny days we’ve had in probably a whole week or week-and-a-half. And while people are telling me to go back inside or stay inside, and I appreciate them for their concerns surrounding the coronavirus, I refuse to be fearful enough about it to stop me from enjoying a sunny day.
Yes, I washed my hands when I came back inside.
No, I did not encounter/interact with large groups of people out there.
And that’s all you need to know about my little outdoor excursion (which, by the way, was limited to the area surrounding my apartment complex).
Other than that, I’ve scrolled through social media, played Kingdom Hearts on the XBOX One, and started the Netflix series Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker. And now, here I am just updating the blog before it gets too late!
I feel like I should make a quarantine template so I don’t have to type up the same things every day in paragraph form…it’ll consist of what I’m watching, what I’m listening to, games I’ve played, if I worked out, what I feel good about, what I feel bad about, main piece of encouragement, etc.
I’ll start the template tomorrow since I’ve explained basically most of that stuff already today!
Honestly, I will say this: I’m feeling hella guilty for not working out in a while. This is the longest I haven’t worked out, and it’s because my routine’s been thrown off, both of the gyms I use are closed, and it’s difficult for me to wrap my head around working out in my little studio apartment. But I’m committing to going ahead and working out tomorrow in the morning, so I can just go ahead and establish it as a part of a new routine. Because as far as I see it, my “normal” routine from a couple of weeks ago won’t be returning for quite some time.
Should probably go and work on some poetry now. Much love, guys! New quarantine template tomorrow, so look forward to that! And maybe I’ll even have some new poems on hand for y’all by the end of this week…
