Today’s prompt: Describe yourself as a tree.

Honestly, I feel like I’ve turned into different trees based off of the choices I’ve made with my hair!

I see me with long hair as a weeping willow, honestly, probably one of my favorite trees! Although, I do dislike the fact that it has to be “weeping”; I feel like that isn’t an accurate adjective to describe who I was with long hair. But in a way, I was weighed down by the opinions of others, who told me that I DARE not cut my hair.

And when I decided that I’d shatter those opinions, and allow myself the freedom to get my hair significantly shorter (and more recently, add bangs), I think of myself as a palm tree. And I’d have to say, the palm tree is my favorite tree, mostly because it’s a tree symbolizing tropical terrain, but also because I see myself with my hair, flowing as free as palm fronds in the wind.

That’s really all I can think of in the last few minutes of this day 😅 but I appreciate you for reading my explanation!
